Washintonia Robusta
This is a plant with a long trunk and it has big leaves. It´s like a palm but it is longer, this type of plant can measure 35m or more.
The “Washingtona” is different of the other type of this plant called “Washingtona Filífera” because "Washintona Robusta” it is longer Filífera.
This plants have green leaves and white treads around the tree.
You can also see this plant in the Málaga centre. (In the park).


Codiaeum Variegatum
“This plant is from Pacific island and Indonesia.
“Codiaeum” can measure 3m. It´s smaller than the “Washingtona Robust".
This plant needs a lot of light to live. It´s a plant with beautiful colours like red and yellow.
They also have other names, they are:
-Codiaeum Vegetarium
-Garden Croton

Puerta oscura garden
This garden is near the Alcazaba, and as complement to the building Guerrero Strachan has made the plants for the development of the surroundunding areas including the existing Puerta Oscura Gardens and those extending the Park.
They are different because it has a lot of plants with many colours . Guerrero Strachan designed yhese beautiful gardens which occupy the southern side at the foot of Gibralfaro.
It is a sucession of terraces, paths, and smal pergolas that surprises and delight visitors to the city.

 The cervantes theatre
The Cervantes theatre is the most ancient escenic escenic space of the Costa del Sol near  the centre of Málaga.
It was built in 1869 before the destruction of the theatre of the prince Alfonso. Later Jerónimo Cuervo do the new theatre; the Cervantes theatre open in 1870.

The theatre echegaray
The original cinema was designed by Manuel Rivera Vera, the author of the Málaga Town Hall,  other noble examples of civil architecture in town. It was a luxury building, heavily decorated, with glazed windows from the renowned firm Maumejean. With stalls seating 500 people and side rows for another 300, it opened on 19 November 1932 with a glittering premiere of the film ‘Princess, à vos ordres!’
In 2001, the Echegaray Cinema screened its last film. Meanwhile, Málaga authorities signed an agreement to use it as a complementary theatre to the Cervantes, which was packed with activities. The building was rehabilitated by architect Francisco Peñalosa Izuzquiza, who had to deal with an advanced state of dilapidation.

Church of santiago
It is situated in calle Granada, this church was built on the site of former masque. It is Málaga's oldest church,
It was founded on 25th  july 1490.
Of the original facade only the Mudejar style central entrance remains.
The beautiful tower is aso Mudejar. The interior of the temple is Gothic-Mudejar and has three naves.
In this church , the famous Picasso was christened in 1881.
